Peak District Climbing Trip

2 days of climbing in a location of endless opportunity

Adventure Rock Climbing

This is the climbing trip for experienced young people to really test out their skills over a number of crags.  The Peak District is renowned across the UK for having well over 3,000 climbs of beginner through to world class climbs that test the best in the world.  We will be based in the beautiful village of Hathersage, which is the local town to crags like Stanage, Burbage, Higgar Tor and many more.

The two days will be about experiencing as much climbing as our finger tips will allow.  The young people will not only climb, but rig all their own climbs, boulder as much as is available at Burbage North/South and also in the evening, recover with some great food, and rest up the muscles in front of a climbing movie or two.

We will be staying in the ideally situated YHA Hathersage, where they will be supervised by two members of staff (male and female) with single sex rooms for the young people.

Two days of climbing covers:

  • Lots of climbing
  • Lots of bouldering
  • Perfect rigging of own climbs
  • Great ratios of staff, 1:4
  • Dinner on day 1 and breakfast and lunch on day 2 included

Pre-requisites:

Young people need to be able to tie in, put on their own harness and belay efficiently.
