During the holidays we have a number of climbing activity days for kids at a number of venues in the Yorkshire area, absolutely perfect locations to build your child’s, or children’s hunger for adventure. With abseils, infamous climbs and the little known, but much loved weaselling, there is something for every ability.
The day will be split in half with the group exploring the vast and amazing venues that we use in the morning, through bouldering and weaselling, and will finish the latter half of the day after lunch completing climbs and an abseil.
The venues we use do tend to have onsite toilets and cafe, so if they fancy a hot drink in the colder months or an ice cream during the warmer, it is a nice treat after a hard day’s slog amongst the rocks, so they may find use for a little pocket money, currently though due to COVID-19, cash is rarely accepted at present. There are both male and female toilets on site, and these will be visited as and when required.
Depending on the season we run our climbing days at slightly different timings, this is to accommodate both the weather and daylight hours.
09:30 – 16:30 – April – September
10:00 – 16:00 – October – March
Cafés at these venues may also not be open during the autumn/winter months, and maybe extremely busy during the spring/summer months.
