This is the climbing trip for experienced young people to really test out their skills over a number of crags. The Yorkshire Dales is a beautiful location with both Gritstone and Limestone climbing available from quarries to mountains. We will base ourselves at Appletreewick, camping in bell tents for two nights. With little traffic and two amazing crags on our doorsteps, it is an amazing setting for young people to experience.
The two days will be about experiencing as much climbing as our finger tips will allow. We have the options of Simon’s Seat and Lord’s Seat on one day and Troller’s Gill the other. This will allow us to sample two different disciplines, Sport and Trad venues.
We will be staying in the ideally situated Howgill Lodge Campsite in bell tents, where they will be supervised by a minimum of two members of staff.
