Get stuck in to an action packed adventure day up to Simon’s Seat and surrounds. Starting with a coffee and/or breakfast at the Love Brownie ‘Brownie Barn’ we’ll be heading up Simon’s Seat with stunning views across the Yorkshire dales. Once at the top we’ll be climbing and bouldering before stopping for a spot of lunch. After, we’ll hike back down to Troller’s Gill for some more climbing, and a stream scramble before returning to the Love Brownie Barn. Here there’s an option to stay for dinner at Love Brownie who have their own Pizza Oven, a licensed bar should you wish, and of course, Brownies! Be sure to select our dinner add on option on the booking system if you’d like to join for this.
This is a fabulous opportunity to have a go at both Traditional climbing on the Gritstone of Simon’s seat and in contrast the limestone Sport climbing at Troller’s Gill. Geologically interesting and adventurously challenging! Don’t worry if you’ve never climbed or scrambled before, this day is suitable for complete beginners, but will still be plenty exciting enough for those who have experience. The only thing we request is a reasonable level of fitness due to this being a full day of activity.
Suitable for ages 12+, this is a family friendly event, we just ask all U18’s are accompanied by a paying adult.
