Ella Sadler-Andrews

Instructor Bio

Ella has worked in the outdoors since 2013, focusing on facilitating developmental outdoor experiences for children, young people and their families. Having qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2019, she now combines her therapeutic training with her outdoor experience and qualifications.

Ella currently works in inner city Leeds, working holistically with young people at risk of homelessness, focusing on their mental health and preventing further family and relationship breakdowns.

Ella also works with the BUSS (Building Underdeveloped Sensorimotor Systems) model with children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma. This involves working closely alongside families and caregivers, and emphasises how positive, and nurturing relationships are key in supporting traumatised children and young people.

Ella is passionate about making outdoor activities and experiences accessible, and how therapeutically valuable they can be.
